Troop TX-1525 meets weekly on Tuesday at 6:30pm at Central in the Kid’s Building – Outpost Room.

Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered outdoor adventure and discipleship program for boys in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Who? When? Where? What? - Trail Life Fall 2026

Who? Boys must be at least 5 years old. Families can attend any meeting to learn more and signup. 

When? Trail Life meetings are Tuesdays at 6:30.

Where? Central Church in the Outpost Rm, Kid Building

What? Boys experience hands-on adventures such as camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, archery, riflery, service projects, and outdoor-skills training. Along the way, they are challenged to grow in character, leadership, confidence, responsibility, and faith.

But Trail Life is about more than outdoor adventure. At the heart of the program is mentorship and discipleship. Boys are surrounded by godly men who invest in them, teach practical skills, offer encouragement, and help them understand what it means to become men of character who follow Christ.

We believe boys need men who are willing to walk beside them and show them the way.

What is Trail Life USA?

Trail Life USA is the national organization that develops and supplies resources for local troop to use. TLUSA is

Church-Based. Christ-Centered. Boy-Focused. Adventure-Driven.

It is a journey rooted in timeless biblical values, where boys are encouraged to:

  • Know God and grow in their faith

  • Develop strong character

  • Build meaningful friendships and brotherhood

  • Learn practical outdoor and life skills

  • Serve their church and community

  • Become confident leaders

  • Grow into capable, responsible young men

Joining Process with Links
  1. Parent Registers with TLUSA, HERE.
    1. Create an account for the adult that will be attending
    2. Secondary Adult to receive emailed information, but doesn’t need an account just add them to the “Adult CC Email” of the primary or of the child
    3. ADD a Son – After your account is created, login and go to your PROFILE to “add son” button. You will need payment information ready to complete this step. TLUSA Fee ~$43
  2. Purchase a Uniform, HERE.
    1. Trail Life Shop will have everything you need! Refer to the handout regarding specifics on which uniforms and books to purchase.
  3. Pay Troop fees, HERE.
    1. The fee for registering with TLUSA does not go to the local troop so we collect troop fees to cover the cost of items that go toward events and awards for your son.  For complete details see the Troop Fees Policy. If costs are prohibitive we options, Scholarship Application Link.
