College
One80, the college ministry at Central, exists to equip college students as Gospel-centered believers through the teaching of God’s Word and the blessing of Christian community. This is done through a Sunday worship gathering at 11am in the Central Gym and student-led small groups, called One80 Groups, that meet in the homes of church members throughout the week.

- What are One80 Groups?

At One80, we believe that deep transformation happens when you walk in Biblical community with other students. One80 groups are co-ed, student-led, small groups that meet in the homes of various congregation members. At a One80 group, you’ll spend time studying God’s Word, praying for those around you, fellowshipping with one another, and learning how to live on mission for Christ.
- When Do One80 Groups Meet?

Fall 2024 One80 Groups will begin meeting the week of August 26th and will continue through the week of November 18th. You are welcome to join a One80 Group at any time during the semester. We can’t wait to see you there!

Leaders
Patrick McGinty
Patrick McGinty serves as the College Minister at Central Church. He’s previously served at Crossway Bible Church (San Antonio, TX), Emmanuel Baptist Church (New Caney, TX), and Redemption City Church (Franklin, TN).
Patrick graduated from Texas A&M in 2015, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and served as Head Yell Leader. He earned a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Katherine and together they are raising four children. He enjoys coaching his kids sports teams, anything outdoors, reading, and traveling.
